Services Introduction

Our committed team will assist in identifying the most suitable treatment modality based on your physical history and personal preferences. We utilize evidence-based techniques that enhance a profound healing experience.

  • Deep Tissue Massage:

A deep tissue massage targets deeper layers of muscle to address knots and alleviate pressure points throughout the body. This technique is particularly effective in releasing chronic muscle tension through deliberate, firm strokes. Pain relief is a primary goal for those seeking a deep tissue massage.

    Swedish Massage:

This technique aims to dissolve muscle tension and enhance blood flow towards the heart. It is highly therapeutic, emphasizing the reduction of muscle toxins, the boost of oxygen levels in the blood, and the enhancement of body flexibility. Your muscles will be treated to long strokes and circular movements.

    Myofascial Release:

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a manual therapy technique that employs slow, gentle stretching to enhance physical function. While MFR primarily targets the fascia—the connective tissue enveloping muscles—it can also affect the skin, muscles, other tissues, and the nervous system. By alleviating tightness and pain, MFR promotes enhanced mobility and improved physical capabilities.

    Sports Massage:

Sports Massage is a specialized massage technique tailored to assist athletes in optimizing their performance and recovery. This massage is administered before, during, and after athletic activities to prime athletes for peak performance, reduce fatigue, alleviate swelling, diminish muscle tension, enhance flexibility, and prevent injuries. While the specific techniques employed may vary, they often include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and stretching. Regular Sports Massage sessions help athletes keep their bodies in prime condition, leading to enhanced performance and a reduced risk of injury.

  • Ashiatsu (Step-on massage):

Step-On Massage, also known as barefoot massage or Ashiatsu, is an ancient massage technique that utilizes the practitioner's feet and body weight to provide deep tissue work on specific pressure points. This results in a refreshing and stimulating experience for the client.

To maintain balance and vary pressure and position, the practitioner uses a cane for support. Different foot strokes are applied to the body's muscles to apply pressure effectively.

The technique resembles a slow-motion walk, with the feet pressing and pulling on the client's muscles to elongate them, releasing tension, opening energy channels, eliminating toxins, and stimulating the body's self-healing abilities.

This massage is particularly suitable for individuals seeking a satisfying and effective treatment, such as athletes, bodybuilders, larger clients, and those who prefer intense pressure during a massage. It is performed with the client wearing loose, comfortable clothing while lying on a cushioned mat on the floor.

    Tuina Massage:

Tui na uses Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques to stimulate certain points and areas on your body. This causes muscles to relax and helps blood flow freely throughout your body.

Sometimes, tui na is sometimes called “acupuncture without needles” because it is like acupuncture in the way that it targets specific parts of your body.

Tui na helps promote blood circulation and improve overall body function by stimulating acupoints. It can be used to treat chronic or acute pain caused by joint injuries, arthritis, sprains, muscle strains, and other conditions. In addition to addressing chronic muscle tension or injuries, tui na is also used to treat arthritis, back pain, migraines, menstrual cramps, tendonitis, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), digestive disorders, asthma, and insomnia

  • We offer acupunctural services on both the face and body. Acupunctural services involve the use of acupuncture, a form of traditional Chinese medicine that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to balance the flow of energy, or Qi (pronounced "chee"). This practice is believed to promote natural healing and improve physical and emotional well-being. Here's an overview of what you might expect from acupunctural services:

    Benefits of Acupuncture

Pain Relief: Commonly used to treat chronic pain conditions such as back pain, neck pain, osteoarthritis, and migraines.

Stress Reduction: Can help reduce stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation and balancing the nervous system.

Improved Digestion: Often used to address digestive issues such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and acid reflux.

Enhanced Immune Function: Believed to strengthen the immune system, helping to prevent illnesses.

Hormonal Balance: Used for conditions like PMS, menopause symptoms, and infertility.

What to Expect During a Session

Initial Consultation: The acupuncturist will take a detailed medical history and discuss your health concerns and goals.

Treatment Plan: Based on the consultation, the acupuncturist will create a personalized treatment plan.

Needle Insertion: Thin, sterile needles are inserted into specific points on the body. This is usually painless, though you might feel a slight tingling or warmth.

Relaxation: Needles typically remain in place for 15-30 minutes while you relax.

Follow-up Sessions: Depending on your condition, multiple sessions may be recommended.

    Safety and Considerations

Qualified Practitioners: Ensure your acupuncturist is licensed and certified by relevant professional bodies.

Sterile Needles: Confirm that the acupuncturist uses sterile, single-use needles to prevent infection.

Side Effects: While generally safe, some people may experience minor side effects such as bruising, dizziness, or minor bleeding at the needle sites.
